Step-by-step tutorial

1. Selecting Products to Merge
Start by logging into your Printful account and locating the three Tote bag variants (Black, Red, and Yellow). Ensure these products are synced with your Shopify store, with fulfillment and stock managed by Printful. Switch to your Shopify dashboard, select the three variants, and click on "Merge Products" to initiate the merging process using the Merges app.

2. Editing the Merged Product Details
Since each variant already has a unique option value, delete the 'Title' option. Rename the default variant option to the respective colors: Black, Red, and Yellow. Change the option name to "Color" and set the product type to "Tote Bags". You can also update other product data as needed.

3. Saving and Finalizing the Optimized Listing
Click on "Save" to finalize the merging process. This action will create a new single product with the three color variants. Check the stock levels in Shopify; you may notice that the stock is at zero because Printful manages the stock.

4. Reassigning Products in Printful
To fix the stock issue, go back to your Printful account and click on "Refresh Data". After a few seconds, the newly merged product should appear. Click on the new product, view the variants, and select "Choose product" and then "Synced items". Match each variant to the corresponding color. Repeat this process for all three variants to ensure they are correctly assigned.
