Merges announces full integration with Judge.me for Shopify merchants

We’re thrilled to announce that Merges now integrates with Judge.me, one of Shopify’s most trusted review apps. This integration makes it easier for merchants to merge products in Merges while retaining all customer reviews from the original listings.

What does the integration do?

When you merge products in Merges, the following review data is transferred from the original products to the newly merged product:

• Ratings: Combine star ratings from all merged products into one cohesive listing.

• Reviews: Preserve customer feedback so no valuable input is lost.

• Reviewer details: Retain reviewer names and other shared information.

• Images and videos: Include all media associated with reviews for a rich customer experience.

This integration ensures your reviews remain intact and visible, helping customers make informed decisions while improving your store’s credibility.

How to enable the integration

Getting started with the Judge.me integration is quick and straightforward:

1. Open the Judge.me app in your Shopify admin.

2. Navigate to the Integrations tab in the Merges app.

3. Find Judge.me in the list and click Connect.

4. Authorize the connection, and you’re all set!

From now on, reviews will automatically transfer to merged products. For more details, check out our step-by-step guide.

A note on limitations

Currently, reviews transferred via this integration will display today’s date. This is a limitation of the Judge.me API, but we’re hopeful that future updates will allow us to preserve the original review dates.
